Hurghada's peak season is defined by European winter sun demand. Shoulder Season (April–May, September)

April–May and September sit between the crowds and prices of peak season and the heat and quiet of summer. Temperatures are warm (28–34°C) but not extreme. Hotel prices are 20–30% below peak. The sea is genuinely at its best in terms of temperature (28–29°C) in July–August. If your holiday is primarily about beach and water, low season is a legitimate and very affordable choice.
